In my 20’s I was studying acting at Northwestern University.  I knew acting was my calling, but life had other plans for me. I decided I would train as a professional chef and built a catering company in the late 80’s during America’s culinary revolution.I was dubbed a “wunderkind” by the Chicago Tribune’s food critic, and got great press from Chicago Magazine and even The New York Times.  From there I returned to school and took a masters in landscape architecture. 

A guiding principle of my landscape design work has been to find and honor the “Genius Loci”- the unique spirit of the place. Genius Loci presents itself in my acting as well. Finding the spirit of the character through the writing, the direction and the chemistry between actors is an adventure that gives me great pleasure.

About ten years ago, life had apparently decided I had enough “inventory” and lines on my forehead to put my original plan into effect. Since then I have been training, studying and engaging in the craft of acting.   

I am now pursuing my acting career from Barcelona. The city I now call home.
